River North is a neighborhood on the North Side of Chicago. The area lies north of the Chicago Loop, west of Michigan Avenue and south of Chicago Avenue, with the Chicago River as its boundary on the south and the west.
It is a stylish urban neighborhood and is considered a go-to district for fine art and design. River North is 2.718 square miles in area. Its population after the 2010 census was 80,484.
